Radio in the Park

The Wichita Amateur Radio Society will host the first installment of the 2015 "Radio in the Park" series this 14 March 2015 at Hapgood Park, Henrietta, Texas. The Radio in the Park event is a warm-up or training event for amateur radio operators to prepare for the international Amateur Radio Relay League sponsored Field Day in June. All "hams" (amateur radio enthusiasts) are invited in addition to anyone with an interest in or questions about ham radio.
The Hapgood Radio in the Park will begin at 0900 hours and last for about 6 hours or until the bands become quiet. Hapgood Park is located at the intersection of City Park Road and TX-510 Spur North.
